Who is Studio 222?

Based in Boulder, CO., Studio 222 was founded by Adam Stielstra — filmmaker, creative director, writer, and composer with over two decades of experience leading national narrative campaigns, documentary films, original musical works, and commercial messaging projects.

The studio exists to bring strategic clarity and artistic discipline to organizations doing meaningful work. We work with brands, movements, nonprofits, artists, and visionaries who we align with and who want to say something real — and say it in a way that cuts through the noise.

Adam Stielstra is an award-winning filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist who has spent over 25 years creating films and campaigns for nonprofits, cultural leaders, and national organizations. His work combines cinematic craft, emotional depth, and strategic clarity. He is a co-creator of the influential NOOMA film series with Rob Bell, a groundbreaking body of work that reached millions and helped redefine short-form storytelling. His work has received multiple honors, including Platinum Telly Awards, Communicator, MarCom, and an Emmy nomination, with recognition at international film festivals for excellence in storytelling and social impact.

Through Studio 222, Adam leads projects with intention.
